The country of Mozambique was at war for many years. Thus the
fishing grounds are almost untouched territory. For nearly 30 years
they have not been fished. The Continental Shelf is Marlin Heaven!
Depth variations range between 60m to 900m within 3kms!
Whales come here to calf and spend months nursing the young close
to the shore lines. Some are caught in the currents and wash out on
the white sandy beaches. Many of those, unfortunately, do not make
it.
